October 31, 2009 24 teams competed today in the first day of the Hoop Group Fall High School Showcase at the Hoop Group Headquarters facility in Neptune.In a opening game the Hornets edged the Red Raiders 36-34 as 5-foot-8 Holmdel High School Sr. Mike Perillo scored on a drive with :03 remaining. Perillo finished with a game high 12 points. 5-foot-7 Newark Eastside So. Kasim Chandler scored a game high 13 points to lead the Red Raiders.
